Timeline of Major Implementation Steps

Preparation Phase
Nov 2014 - May 2015

Phase 2
1 June 2015 - 20 June 2015
GenY Initiation
They will use what they have learnt from step 1 to take an action in this step. 15 Cambodian youths and 15 Thai youths will be divide into 6 small groups to run small initiatives in their own country. The 6 teams will get the best project implement award. They have to lead one small grant project for 1-7 days, which related to corruption, transparency or integrity. 6 team members of GenY Leaders Xchange 4 Actions will coordinate each project.
Week 1: Writing Project Proposal After the first camping, they have 10 days to brainstorm their project idea and 1 week to write the proposal letter to us. *First come, first serve.
Week 2: Result/Preparation The result will be released within this week and they can start to prepare their project. *Their project has to be innovative and effective.
Week 3: The period of each project would be 1-7 days. In each projects, we expect that they can engage 50 participants at least.*One week, one project *Start from 2nd week on wards *First ready, first implement.
Week 4: The result will announce in the next program in Thailand. There will be an award for the best team who has the creative idea and effective in their implement.

YOUNG LEADERSHIP PROGRAMME
15 outstanding youths from Thailand and 15 from Cambodia are selected through competitive application process to attend 7 days leadership programme in Cambodia
- Day 1: Thai Participants travel to Cambodia (Thai will be hosted in Cambodians’ participant house during the program to learn more directly about Cambodia's society & culture, while saving the accommodation cost)
- Day 2: Training (what corruption, transparency, Good governance, Life with integrity, youth’s roles democratic process)
- Day 3: Training (Volunteerism, Project Management, Fundraising, Proposal writing)
- Day 4: Field trip to learn about Cambodian institutions
- Day 5: 1st GenY Forum: “Higher Education Reform in Cambodia”
- Day 6: GenY Leaders Community Engagement
- Day 7: Back home

Phase 3
3 JULY 2015 - 8 JULY 2015
Advanced Leadership Programme
15 Cambodians and with the 15 Thai youth will attend the 7 days ADVANCED LEADERSHIP PROGRAM in Thailand (Cambodians are hosted at Thai participants’ houses)
- Day 1: departure from PP to BKK
- Day 2: Training on Soft Skill Development.
- Day 3: Thai Governance Institutional Field trips
- Day 4: Amazing Race (The reflection game about leadership and teamwork)
- Day 5: The best project implement award/Reflection
- Day 6: Return home
