GenY Leaders Xchange 4 Actions aims at nurturing young generation between 18-30 from Cambodia and Thailand to becoming promising leaders who are able to take lead against corruption, as well as to promote integrity and transparency in their community. This program is supported by Youth Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI), Australian AID, SWEDEN and partner with Transparency International Cambodia, Fulbright and Undergraduate State Alumni Association of Cambodia (FUSAAC). The selected participants will need to join 3 programme as follow

 

• GenY Leadership Program (Phnom Penh, Cambodia on May 14-20, 2015

1.       Youth and Anti-Corruption Training.

2.       Phnom Penh Transparency Field Trip

3.       1st GenY Forum: “Higher Education Reform in Cambodia”

4.       GenY Leaders Community Engagement

 

• GenY Grant Seed for the future will be produced 6 small projects which lead by the participants joined the previous program

 

• GenY Advanced Leadership Program (Bangkok, Thailand on July 3-8, 2015)

1.       Soft Skill Training

2.       Bangkok Transparency Field Trip

3.       Amazing Race Competition

 

During GenY Leaders Xchange 4 Actions, you can expect to:

 

     1. Attend a 3 day leadership training program in Phnom Penh and Bangkok

     2. To have a chance to run your own project in your city

     3. To improve leadership skill

     4. To build network with outstanding young leaders from Cambodia and                    Thailand

 

To be considered as a participant, you must meet the following criteria:

 

     - Be age at between 18-30 years old

     - Be fluent in English

     - Be the citizen of Cambodia or Thailand

     - Currently living in Phnom Penh or Bangkok

     - Be passionate in fighting corruption

     - Be enthusiastic about initiating integrity projects

     - Be able to use internet, e-mail and social network tools

     - Be open to share and learn personal knowledge or experiences to/from                other

     - Be able to actively participate in the whole programme (Phnom Penh and            Bangkok)

     - Be committed, responsible, accountable and honest

     - Be able to provide home-stay accommodation to at least 1 participant in               your home country.

 

If you are selected to participate in this programme, you will receive:

 

     - An opportunity to join 3 programme of GenY Leaders Xchange 4 Actions

      (GenY Leadership Programme, GenY Initiation, GenY Advanced Leadership           Programme)

     - Round trip ticket coverage to/from Bangkok and Phnom Penh

     - Homestay accommodation during the programme in Phnom Penh and                  Bangkok

     - Ground transportation to/from bus station.

     - All meals during the programme

 

The steps of selection process are as follow: 

 

     1. Application form submission (May 7, 2015)

     2. Short-list Result (May 8, 2015)

     3. Skype Interview (May 9-10, 2015)

     4. Final result (May 10, 2015)
